i posted this already somewhere and maybe will repeat --my rant of the day -- well -it's been quite an off season with lots of back and forth with new tracks coming and new series being introduced and growing programs at the favourite existing tracks. And lot's of people telling other people how things should be done. In my humble opinion --my job is to get my racecar ready and be the best racer i can be. And the racetrack operator's job is to get the track ready and put on the best races they can. And if we each do our job and stick to doing our own jobs we'll all be happy --and successful. just sayin'...

Looking for List of Track Champions

Hi everyone,

Abit of a strange request here but I'm trying to compile a list of Class Track champions from Cayuga, St Thomas and Grand Bend going from last year to as far as far back as the late 80's if possible.

Looking for Points champions in Super Pro (Top ET), Modified (Pro), Street (Sportsman), Pro Comp, Bike/Sled, Q16, basically any POINTS Champion from any of the tracks.

Also Looking to find a list of Canadians who have won NHRA or IHRA Divisional or National Championships, again trying to date it back to early 80's if possible.

Any help with this would be very appreciated!

Don't forget folks, this Sunday is the Drag Strip Memories show at the War Plane Heritage in Mount Hope. Doors open at 9 am. Admission is $12 adult, $11 Seniors and students, $8 kids 6-12, and kids under 5 free. Last year was a blast!!

I just finished reading both of Doug Boyce's books,,,,

"Grumpys Toys" The authorized history of Bill Jenkins cars.

Also " Junior Stock" racing the family sedan.

No relation, just a satisfied buyer, great books and Tons of great pics, including some of Cayuga. Great to see all the tri-five chevys again, plus the fords and mopars.

Can't wait. First test session scheduled for May 4th at TMP.

Last year, I brought a new set-up out on a race day and that didn't work out very well. Spent more time fixing than l did racing.
This year, with the new SLE, nitrous and throttle stop installed on my new spread port deal so the Delay Box with Built In Weather & Data Acquisition that I picked up in Ohio will work properly, I promised myself I would get a few test runs in before racing starts.
